The Elms offers a holistic package of care which addresses not just the physical but also the psychological and spiritual needs of our clients. We provide a clean, safe and secure environment in line with all relevant legislation including the Care Standards Act 2000 and the Health and Safety at Work Act as amended in 1999.

Choice is at the heart of our philosophy and clients can choose to be involved or not involved at all in any activity arranged.

Television, radio and music centres can be utilised in all rooms for those who wish to use these.

We have regular visits from clergy and visits from ‘pat a dog’ schemes. Our aim is to ensure high standards of physical care are maintained whilst respecting client dignity. Staff are our main asset and they are committed, educated and focused on care delivery.
